UAB “Vertablox,” in collaboration with partners (Kaunas University of Technology, UAB “Gluk Media,” UAB “cargoGO Logistics”), is implementing a European Union-funded project titled “RoadMaster VR” No. 08-004-K-0020. The purpose of the project is to create a product designed for the identification, analysis, and management of various stress-inducing situations faced by drivers.
Product objectives include:
- Measuring driver stress levels in the work environment, specifically while driving.
- Using video recording technology to identify situations that cause stress for drivers.
- Analyzing driver’s biological signals (e.g., pulse, skin conductivity, etc.) to determine their stress levels in specific situations.
- Sending video recordings and biological data to a server using 5G technology.
- Transforming video recordings into virtual reality (VR) training.
- Integrating artificial intelligence algorithms to create personalized training plans for drivers and predict future stressful situations.
- Delivering VR training to experienced drivers using 5G technology.
- Allowing drivers to experience and learn to manage stressful situations through VR training, starting from basic stress management techniques to specific scenarios.
- Providing real-time feedback and support to drivers during VR training to help them better understand and manage their stress levels.
- Providing reports to employers or drivers about recurring stressful situations and progress based on VR training data.
- After completing VR training, drivers will be prepared to effectively handle stress situations while driving.
- Using 5G technology to ensure fast and efficient data transmission between the driver, VR system, and server.
The goal of the project is to develop a 5G-enabled tool for the identification, analysis, and management of various stress-inducing situations faced by drivers, allowing for the organization of VR training sessions.
The project is funded under the 2022–2030 Development Program of the Republic of Lithuania’s Ministry of Transport and Communications, Measure No. 10-001-05-04-01 “Increasing the Value Created by the Transport System and the Efficiency of Infrastructure Use” within the “Development of Digital Technological Solutions Requiring 5G Connectivity” activity description and in accordance with the project administration and financing rules.
The project is financed by the Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan “Next Generation Lithuania” (EGADP).
The total value of the project is €4,317,539.88.
EGADP grant funding amounts to €2,721,994.41.
The project executor’s own funds amount to €1,595,545.47.
The project is implemented from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025.
