- PURPOSE AND SCOPE
- This Applicant Privacy Policy (hereinafter – the Policy) is intended to acquaint you with the information about the processing of your personal data when you apply for a job position at cargoGO Group companies (UAB “cargoGO Logistics”, UAB “cargoGO Logistics” representative office in Uzbekistan, AUTOMODUS sp. z o.o., UAB „Riteriai“, UAB „Sun Transport“, UAB „Saturn Transport“, UAB „Jupiter Transport“).
- We understand that the protection of personal data is very important and we are committed to respect your (the Applicant’s) privacy and personal data.
- This Policy was prepared in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation), Law of Republic of Lithuania on Legal Protection of Personal Data and other legal acts regulating the protection and processing of the personal data.

- You – an Applicant.

- Applicant’s consent – any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of Your wishes by which you, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signify agreement to the processing of personal data relating to you. Please be informed that your consent is given by submitting your CV and any other related documents to the particular position.
- WHAT DATA WE COLLECT, FOR WHAT PURPOSE AND ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS WE PROCESS THE PERSONAL DATA
- Depending on the job position, we collect and process various types of personal data. The following are the main, but not all, categories of personal data processed by the Company:
- Personal identification data – name, surname, date of birth (age);
- Preference details – preferred job position, remuneration, start date of work;
- Data on qualification and experience – data on working experience (workplace, working period, duties, responsibilities or achievements, contact person and the reason for the termination of the employment relationship), information on your education (institution of education, period, acquired degree or qualification), information on professional development courses (attended courses, obtained certificates), information on foreign language (speaking, reading, writing levels), informational technology and other competences, personal qualities, as well as, other information provided by you in curriculum vitae (CV), motivational letter and other documents of the Applicant or which we received from the third parties;
- Contact details – permanent residence address and zip code, correspondence address (if different from the permanent place of residence) and zip code, telephone number and Whatsapp and Viber mobile app number (if available), email address;
- Recommendations, employers’ feedback – person’s recommending or providing feedback about the Applicant name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, content of the feedback or recommendation (e.g., work performance, relationship with clients and/or colleagues, evaluation of the Applicant’s performance);
- Social media account details – information provided by the Applicant on his/her professional social media (e.g., LinkedIn) profiles;
- Details of where you saw Our job advertisement, who recommended Us, other sources.
- The following personal data may additionally be collected when applying for the position of international road haulage driver:
- Data required for the purpose of assessing suitability to perform the job functions – driving skills (driving licence and the data contained therein), date of obtaining the category of driving licence (C, CE), period of experience as an international driver in the CE category, possession of a tachograph card and its validity, possession of a “95 code” licence and its validity and the country of issue, possession of an ADR certificate and its validity, the ability to fill in the CMR consignment note, the ability to change the wheel of a vehicle, etc.;
- In cases where the Applicant is a foreigner, the data required for the purpose of assessing the legal basis for working and staying in Lithuania and to assist in obtaining such basis if the Applicant does not have it (for example, assessing the possibility of obtaining a Temporary Residence Permit, a Work Permit) – data on convictions and criminal offences, the possession of a Work Permit, and any other data that must be provided to the Migration Department for the purpose of obtaining the Work and Temporary Residence Permit, the National D Visa (such as, marital status). These personal data are required in the cases established by the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania and are provided voluntarily by the Applicant;
- In cases where the Applicant is a foreigner, data on the holding of a bank account in Lithuania. This data is necessary to assess whether the Applicant needs assistance in opening a bank account in Lithuania to which remuneration can be transferred. The information is provided voluntarily by the Applicant.

- Depending on the job position, we collect and process various types of personal data. The following are the main, but not all, categories of personal data processed by the Company:
- WHERE DO WE GET YOUR PERSONAL DATA FROM?
- The major part of your personal data we obtain directly from you, for example, when you fill in the applicant form on our website, send a curriculum vitae (CV), cover letter or other application documents.
- Information about your candidacy, your curriculum vitae (CV) or other application documents can be also obtained from job search, recruitment or intermediary service providers, such as the Lithuanian Labour Exchange, employment agencies or career portals (e.g., LinkedIn).
- We may collect your personal data relating to qualifications, professional abilities and qualities from the former employer after informing you, and from your current employer – only with your consent.
- We may also obtain certain information from public administration entities, registers, databases and other sources.
- TO WHOM YOUR DATA CAN BE DISCLOSED?
- Your personal data may be transferred to:
- Legal, financial, tax, personnel administration, accounting advisors, etc.;
- Companies of the Group;
- Third parties who, in accordance with Our instructions, provide us with the services related to the selection of Applicants, their evaluation and internal administration;
- Other persons who need the data in order to fulfil their legal obligations, with a legitimate interest or with your consent.
- Your personal data may be transferred to:
- INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
- Personal data may be transferred and processed outside the European Union (hereinafter – the EU) and the European Economic Area (hereinafter – the EEA) when you apply for job positions in the Company’s Group companies that are located in third countries or are otherwise linked to third countries.
- Personal data may be also transferred outside EU and / or EEE in other necessary cases. Such cases may be:
- Use of third-party services in the business activities;
- In cases indicated in the laws and regulations for protection of our lawful interests, e.g., in order to bring proceedings in court/other governmental bodies;
- In order to fulfil legal requirements or to realize public interest.
- In case Applicant’s personal data is transferred outside the EU and the EEA, the Company will take all steps to ensure that Applicant’s data is treated securely and in accordance with the Policy and that personal data is protected and transferred in a manner consistent with the legal requirements applicable to the personal data. This can be done in a number of different ways, such as:
- The country to which the Company sends the personal data, a territory or one or more specified sectors within that third country, or the international organization is approved by the European Commission as having an adequate level of protection;
- Data recipient which is in the third country has signed standard data protection clauses which are approved by the European Commission;
- Special permission has been obtained from a supervisory authority.
- The Company may transfer personal data to a third country by taking other measures if it ensures appropriate safeguards as indicated in the Regulation.
- WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?
- As a data subject, you have the right to:
- know (be informed) about the processing of your data (right to know);
- access your data and obtain information how it is processed (right to access);
- demand the correction or supplementation of incomplete personal data (right to request correction);
- request the deletion of personal data relating to you (the right “to be forgotten”);
- require the Company to restrict the processing of personal data relating to you (right to restrict);
- not consent at any time to the processing of your personal data if this is in the public interest or necessary for the legitimate interests of the Company or a third party (right to object);
- receive data related to you that you have provided to the Company in a structured, commonly used and computer-readable format and transfer it to another data controller (right to data portability);
- submit a complaint to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania.
- As a data subject, you have the right to:
- HOW YOU CAN EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS
- To exercise your rights and receive answers to your questions, please contact us at the email address [email protected].
- Your request will be processed within 30 calendar days from the date on which the request is lodged. This period may be extended by another 60 calendar days by notifying you in advance if the request concerns a large amount of personal data or if other requests are being processed at the same time. The answer shall be provided to you via email, unless you’ll indicate other preferred form.
- DATA RETENTION PERIOD
- If your application for a job position is successful and you enter into an employment contract with Us, your personal data shall be transferred and processed in accordance with Our Personal Data Processing Rules.
- If your application for a job position is not successful, then the personal data that you have provided will be stored until the end of the recruitment process.
- If you are not invited to work for the Company this time, with your consent, we would like to store your application documents and the personal data provided in them for evaluation during other recruitment processes, when looking for a similarly qualified employee.
- If you agree, the Company will process the personal data provided in your application documents relating to qualifications, abilities and professional skills, as well as the contact details needed to contact you. We will store the submitted data for the above purpose for 1 (one) year from the date of giving this consent, unless you request their deletion earlier. Data collected from the Applicant’s professional social media profiles shall be retained for 3 working days after the end of the recruitment process.
- Please note that you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting Us as indicated in this Policy.
- We may in some cases store Your personal data longer:
- if necessary, to enable us to defend ourselves against claims and exercise our rights to issue claims or lawsuits;
- there are reasonable suspicions of illegal activity;
- personal data is necessary for proper resolution of a dispute or complaint;
- your request for access to your personal data is received;
- on other grounds provided for in the legislation.
- RIGHT TO APPEAL
- If you consider that your personal data is being processed in violation of your rights and legitimate interests established in the applicable legal acts, then you may submit a complaint to the supervisory authority – the State Data Protection Inspectorate. - HOW YOUR DATA IS STORED
- We confirm that personal data is processed in the Company in accordance with the requirements of the applicable data protection laws, as well as the instructions of the controlling authorities. The Company shall implement all necessary technical and administrative measures to protect the data collected by it from loss, unauthorized use and alteration. Our employees have a written commitment not to disclose to third parties or disseminate information obtained in the workplace, including information about the Applicants.
- CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
- We regularly review this Policy and reserve the right to modify it at any time in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Any changes will take effect immediately upon their publication on our website.
